An all-solid-state battery,
designed in France.

Our 100% self-funded R&D programme is developing a battery without liquid electrolyte: denser, longer-lasting and with no fire risk. It holds the Bpifrance Deeptech label and is supported by ANRT.

Technology

All-solid-state batteries win on every metric.

A conventional battery relies on a flammable liquid electrolyte. TOROW replaces it with a solid electrolyte, thanks to proprietary electrochemistry and an exclusive process designed for industry from day one.

Two chemistries, one technology

Lithium first, sodium next.

TOROW is developing its all-solid-state technology in both lithium and sodium. We are starting with lithium, because the sodium supply chain does not yet exist at industrial scale. The road to industrialisation remains long and demanding: we are moving forward step by step, with our academic partners.
